Hey guys, as you may have noticed, I haven't been putting out as many post as I used to , however I want to let you all know what I've planned. the reason for the delays is mainly getting all of the miniatures and terrain painted and ready with all my bigger and bigger projects.

I really enjoy writing up the battle reports so here are a few I hope to post up soon.







Robotech RPG Tactics

The delay is there was a lot of the miniatures to get painted up (Nobody wants to see a battle report with unpainted miniatures) and to make matter more complicated I had to order another set so the points values would be more even. The Zentreadi were a joy to paint and the UEDF were fine just lots of fiddly bits. I now have them finished so hope to complete this battle report next as promised in the last post. Which you can read here 

The report will delve into the rules as well as the story more than previous reports.

Ronin

I'll be continuing the Lion, Scorpion clan wars. With the Lion clan delving further into the Scorpion clan lands they will meet tough opposition from the Kumoshima village defenders. increasing the points of the game and the stakes. Will the Lion Clan be victorious or will the Scorpion clan turn the tide?

Dreadball

This is an old favourite, but this time with a special guest Referee.

Time to throw our Dreadball teams into the Xtreme.  

Not actually played this so it will be new for all of us. I only need to paint up the terrain (boxes) and I'm ready

I won't lie I've been wanting to battle report this for the past few years and never really got  round to it, so hoping this year will be different. so we might get a show down between the Romans and the Normans

Livingston Skirmish 2011

Livingston Battleground wargaming club along with Worlds at war ran an all day gaming event, in aid of ERSKINE, a charity that has provided nursing and medical care for former members of our Armed Forces through two world wars and the more recent conflicts . Re-building shattered lives, restoring dignity and providing first class care to ex-Service men and women both young and old.

On the day there was a both Flames of War and a Warmachine tournament plus Painting Competitions  Demonstrations from other Clubs.

Warfleet Oceana is a Naval game created by the club itself.

I've seen this game at a few events but i still haven't yet had the chance to play it.

It was a busy day and i never got the chance to play any of the other Demo games, which is a shame.

I would recommend anyone else to attend next year, I myself have booked to come along next year. a truly great event.

I'd like to thank everyone at the Livingston Battleground wargaming club , making everyone feel welcome created a great day.

Flames of war- German Grenadierkompanie

This is my first delve in to Flames of war by Battlefront

My decision of force has fallen on the Germans of the late war period. Due to my beginners status in the game, I've decided to start with a basic infantry company (Grenadierkompanie)

My full painted force, now i do have another Grenadier platoon to make it a legal playable force, but i have omitted them from the pictures as they aren't painted in the same winter camo, but i will replace them when i have painted up a new platoon.
